Our Values

We believe who you are is more important than what you achieve.

1.
Humility
We have nothing which we did not receive, consequently we esteem humility as the bedrock of a whole and grateful existence.
2.
Commitment
One cannot be a part-time nihilist or optimist. No half measures.
3.
Passion
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
4.
Service
I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.
5.
Curiosity
Curiosity will conquer fear even more than bravery will. Disinterested intellectual curiosity is the life blood of real civilization.
6.
Grit
It is not miserable to be blind; it is miserable to be incapable of enduring blindness. What can’t be cured, must be endured.
7.
Hope
There is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and its shoots will not fail. Though its roots grow old in the ground and its stump dies in the dry soil, at the scent of water it will flourish and put forth sprigs like a plant.
8.
Process
While we celebrate outcome, we prize process above outcome. Often the journey is more instructive than the destination.
9.
Storytelling
What we see depends on where we stand. Ultimately all of our lives are simply stories; the past is a story, the present and future will soon be stories. Story tellers frame our existence. Conquerors write history.
10.
The Long Game
Always play the long game, not much else is worth your time.
